This upscale home is located in an area where stars such as Liza Minelli and Sammy Davis Jr. once called home while staying in Lake Tahoe. Bill Harrah's home was once a well known landmark. Skyland is a lakeside community within Zephyr Cove and boasts its own private beach. The refined charm of this English tudor brick home is manifested within its 3400 square feet, with classic period furniture of excellent quality mixed with typical Tahoe touches. The brocade and satin fabrics found in the spacious and elegant bedrooms is in counterpoint to the rough hewn beams found in the home's construction. The entire home is decorated to appeal to the finest of tastes. The main floor is the place to gather with the main living room graced with a steep open beam ceiling, a large brick wood burning fireplace, and a comfortable leather sofa and 2 relining chairs to enjoy movies or games on the large 60 INCH PROJECTION TELEVISION or listen to the stereo. Just off the living room is an alcove with book shelves full of reading materials, Wi Fi and a desk ready for writing or work related needs. There is also unlimited long distance calling within the United States (others blocked). Across the hall is the POOL TABLE and FOOSBALL TABLE which is set up for those who enjoy the game, or those wanting to learn. Around the corner, dinner is cooking in the huge kitchen which is stocked with all that is needed to cook your gourmet meal. Upstairs is the quiet area. There are four large bedrooms, each with its own elegantly appointed bed and television(the master has a 25" and the others have a 20") . Two of the lakeside rooms, one being the master, have FILTERED LAKEVIEWS of Lake Tahoe. The three baths have either a stall shower or a shower over a bath tub. For those who aren't quite ready to go to bed, but want some quiet time away from the partying group downstairs, there is a family room with a 27" television and plenty of comfy lounging area in two leather recliners and sofa. Outside is a large deck where you can enjoy the sounds of the boats on Lake Tahoe and hear the wind whistling through the pine trees. Experience the HOT TUB, or enjoy barbecuing and toddy time while watching the myriad of animals at play from this relaxing vantage point. For the ultimate of enjoyment in Tahoe, give this home a try

Payment Policy: Rates are in US Dollars. Reservation Deposit is $750, with the remainder being due 60 days prior to arrival, except for holidays which is 90 days in advance of arrival.

Cancellation Policy: When we are notified 60 days prior first day of the rental, full refund of the rental amount will be made. However, when cancellation is given for a shorter period of time, less than 60 days no refund will be made until the cabin is re-rented for an equal or greater period of time. A fee of $100 will be applied against all confirmed reservations that are canceled. A charge of $40 will be charged for any returned check. There are no refunds due to weather or road closures. All cancellations will be confirmed with the renter via phone. If you have not received a call, please contact us again to make sure we received the cancellation notice.
